17 Months.

Dear Scarlett,
As you grow into a little girl, I am amazed. You are in your copy cat phase now.
Anything that Mommy or Daddy do, you do, too.
I find you talking on your cell phone, typing on your lap top and brushing your teeth.
You are talking more than ever right now.
You can also point out all your block animals when I call them out.
You say many words and your vocabulary is expanding each day. Right now, we are still living in New York. We are looking for a house to buy here. I'm hoping that we find one soon because our wedding is coming up in May and I don't want to be house hunting or moving close to the wedding.
I've been very busy with life lately. I wish there was more time in the day.
We have moved twice in the last month.
But other than that, life is good.

You are our joy, as always.
Loving your babies and carrying around your blankie.
Halloween is coming soon and I am excited to dress you up and go trick or treating with your Playgroup. You are old enough to have more fun this year.
Right now, your favorite foods are:
Bologna
Tofu Pups
Pickles
Peaches
Cantaloupe
Blueberries

You eat pretty much everything that I give you. Just the other day, you ate a yogurt with a spoon all by yourself. I'm getting ready to sign you up for preschool since the wait list here in New York is 2 years. I don't know if we will still be here then but just in case.
Peanut girl,
You are officially a mischief maker. You are into everything. I find you doing naughty things all the time but I guess that's because you are learning all about this world around us.
I am so happy that I get to stay home and raise you. See you grow day by day.
I wouldn't have it any other way.

My baby is 16 Months Old.

That's almost 1 1/2 years old!!!
And you're not really a baby anymore.
Dear Scarlett,
You are getting to be such a big girl now.
You are talking more and more everyday.
You love babies, just like Mommy did when I was little.
You now say, Mama, Dada, Block, Pumpin (Pumpkin), fiss (fish), cold, hot, peas (please) thank-you and count "one, two, freeee!"
You are just a sweet little girl.
You love Pear Juice, carrots and peaches. But you will eat pretty much anything that I put in front of you.
Although, you are getting into everything as you explore the world.
We spend a lot of time with your friends at the playgroup.
And Chloe is your BFF.
This month, family came to visit us in New York.
Next week, we are moving back to our off season house, here in New York.
We'll be there through winter.
I can't wait to have a permanent house for us and a permanent room for you. Soon.
I left you for the first time this month, for a whole weekend. I went away with my friends for a girls weekend.
You stayed with Daddy.
I was nervous since I've never left you for more than a few hours, but Daddy did just fine.
When I came back, you learned new words.
Daddy must have been spending a lot of time with you :)
We had Auntie Shauna visit us last week, too.
I can't believe how quickly time is passing.
Mommy & Daddy's wedding is coming up in May. You will be our two year old flower girl.
I love you Scarlett. To the moon and back! Daddy, too.

4th of July & You Said MAMA!!

Dear Scarlett,

Yesterday, on July 8th 2012, you said Mama for the very first time! I asked you to say it and out of nowhere, "Mama".  And then you continued to say it throughout the day. We clapped and you joined in with us. I love your little "Mama Mama" voice talking to me. You are walking a lot now. And why did I want you to walk so much??? Haha. You are into everything. I have my hands full with you Peanut.

But you are really a good baby. You are starting to be more social at the gym now. You even have a little friend! He's a blond haired boy about 2. Yesterday, you were crying and he rubbed your back and said, "It's okay. Don't cry." It was the sweetest thing ever!  You also saw your first fireworks this 4th of July. You were scared at first but as soon as Daddy showed you the pretty lights in the sky, you got excited and started waving your glow sticks around. It was sweet. Anyway, just leaving you a quick note today, to tell you about your first "Mama." Here are a few photos from the 4th of July.

Your words so far are:
Dadda
Mama
Hot
Paa. ( I think this means Oppa)
Wow
Oh Yeah
Yes
