Your First Christmas

Dear Scarlett,

December 2011 was your first Christmas. I was amazed at how mature you were. I expected you to get cranky after opening a few presents. You opened each present and paid careful attention to each toy. You pointed, hugged and tasted almost every present. Everyone, including Santa, were good to you. You were a good girl so that was expected. 

We went home for the holidays. We spent Christmas Eve at Nunna's house and Christmas Morning at our home in Massachusetts. We went to Oppa's house later to visit family and see Mocha (the pup).

The Polar Express Ride

This year, for your first Christmas, Daddy surprised us with tickets to the Polar Express Train Ride in Saratoga Springs NY. You were a little skeptical at first. Lots of music and loud elves.

We took our seats & waited for the train ride to begin. 

You loved the music and the elves. 

You were a very patient baby. You waited way past your bed time to meet Santa! You probably won't remember this trip, but here are some pictures of our fun trip!
