Disney 2013 Part II.

There were so many wonderful parts of our vacation. One of them was exploring the world show case in Epcot. You were so interested in all the new scenery. Morocco was a favorite, and China was a close second.
Our hotel had a sand bottom pool that was amazing since you are such a sand-baby. We spent the relaxing part of our vacation there.
You may think I'm silly, but taking this photo with Ty sitting here was so exciting to me. Dan Connor from my favorite television show, Roseanne, sat in this very seat in the episode, "Disney World War II". We were hoping to order a yarder beer here as Dan did, (the name speaks for itself) but they discontinued serving them a couple of months ago.
France was a hit as well. I was in love with their crepes & I confess I probably had 4 or 5 over the entire trip. You loved seeing Belle there, one of her favorite Disney Princesses! I made sure to buy some souvenirs from my homeland, Norway. ;) I was smart and bought a chocolate bar on a 90+ degree day. I had to....reshape it later on....
Going to Disney is hard work! You took your afternoon naps in the stroller while we enjoyed some sightseeing.
One thing that was super cool to try was snorkeling with the sharks and stingrays. The water was horribly cold, but nothing that us New Englanders couldn't handle. ;)
You dressed up like Minnie for the Not So Scary Halloween Party in the Magic Kingdom.
You and Daddy: Vikings in Norway. You were not a fan of the ride there.....
Our vacation was such a wonderful time. I could have easily stayed two weeks. We definitely won't forget your first trip to Disney!

Disney 2013 Part I.

This vacation went by way too fast. It was the first week long vacation that I have taken in years! By years, I mean probably since I was 13. Ty and I take a lot of weekend trips but this vacation was one whole week of nothing but fun. Ty and I hadn't been to Disney since we were younger. A lot has changed since then. I honestly didn't remember much about our family trips to Florida, or Disney for that matter. My sister goes every year and they rave about it year after year. So, off we went with our toddler in tow. We met my sister and her husband there. They had just gotten off of a Disney Cruise to the Bahamas and they were waiting for us at the Resort. Their 11 year old daughter had no idea we were coming to surprise them! We let Scarlett step off the Disney Express bus and it was nothing but magic from the very start. Scarlett yelled, "Surprise!" and ran towards Elyssa who met her half way and hugged her in complete happiness!

The trip started off magical and stayed that way. Then we checked in, and began our week of absolute bliss! It brought back so many memories of my childhood visits there. Ones that I didn't even remember until I got inside.  We were part of a new trial Disney is doing. A few resorts were selected to try the new wristbands.  We were each sent a different colored, waterproof wristband with our names on them. We were to wear them the entire time. They did everything. Checked us in, opened our room doors, got us into any of the parks, and we could even use them to buy food or merchandise in the parks. It was nice to not have to bring cash or cards along. They were also used for fast passes. It was a great experience. So easy and hassle free.

I could go on and on telling you about our wonderful vacation. How Scarlett was amazed by the Magic Kingdom or how I could live in Epcot for a few months, how Ty loves water slides and how we enjoyed an amazing week in one of the happiest places on earth, but I figured that photos would do a better job of showing you our past week.
